Starting with a damp December morning, only one person turned up for the pre-Christmas Dinner ride, so it was abandoned, with everybody else meeting at Rolls Royce Social at 2:30 for drinks before sitting down to our traditional Christmas Lunch at 3pm.
Dinner was up to the usual exceptional standard, seating a total of 23 members.
The club Christmas Dinner is our traditional time to present any club awards for the last 12 months, these being the winners of the Jack Harrison Trophy: Mark Clegg, and the Bill Heywood Trophy: Margaret Brown. Congratulations to both.
Finally during the meal, we held a numbers raffle, raising just over £100 which will be donated to the Lancashire and Yorkshire Air Ambulace Services.
