What a glorious start to November. The sun shone nearly all day, putting us all in a really good mood.

Five riders set out from Langroyd, collecting an additional three at Thornton, then heading north through West Marton, Gargrave and Airton before stopping for lunch at Malham.

After lunch we set off up the long climb past Malham Cove, where the ramblers were also out in force.  On reaching the top, we split into two groups, one group turning right, looping back into Malham to return via the outward route. The rest, wanting to make the most of such a glorious day, took the descent into Langcliffle, where Dave punctured, causing a slight delay, before heading back through Giggleswick, Rathmell, Wigglesworht and Paythorne. Finally, dropping into Barnoldswick where the group split, heading off in different homeward directions, leaving two of us returning to our starting point at Langroyd via the canal towpath.
