We are thinking of running a theatre trip to see "Beryl" by Maxime Peake on 18th Oct. 7.30 p.m (suggested).

This extraordinary true story and energetic play is about sporting heroine Beryl Burton, who became a major cycling champion in the 1960's.

After falling ill during her 11+ exam, Beryl is told she won’t amount to anything so she sets out to prove everyone wrong!

Fast-forward several years, and a blossoming workplace romance with charismatic amateur cyclist Charlie Burton leads Beryl to find true love - not only with Charlie but with the thrill and freedom of being on two wheels.

Venue:Library theatre, Bolton Museum BL1 1SE. (Bolton Octagon temp. venue).

Running from Thu. 19 Sep. to Sat 19th Oct.

Friday prices:- £19, £25, £29. (no group discount on Fridays so doesn't matter how many come). (there are currently tickets left, but couldn't find out how many on their website)

If any of our regular riders are interested, please contact Chris Marshall, or you can book yourself for that night or any other night. We could go for a meal before (Olympus is very good). If enough are interested, a minibus is a possibility.
