Annual General Meeting - 1st November

Our Annual General meeting will be held at the Birtwistle Trust Community Centre, Colne on Wednesday 1st November, 7:30pm We will also be holding a Cycle Jumble at the AGM, so if you have any bikes, components, clothes etc that may be of use to pother members, please bring them along.
Unfortunately, due to low numbers, we have taken the decision to cancel our Bowling night on 8th November.     We are holding a 10 pin bowlong night on Wednesday 8th November. 7:30pm on Finsley Gate in Burnley. Please contact Jim Duerden to confirm your attendance so we know how many lanes to book.

Hope Factory Visit

We have still got a few places left on our tour of the Hope Technology factory in Barnoldswick on Monday 18th September. If you are interested, please contact either Ian lowcock or Bob Jackson before the end of August. Please note that we are limited to the number who can attend the tour, so places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

100 mile Challenge Ride

On Sunday 27th August we will be hosting the fourth and final of our 2017 Challenge Rides. The 100m Challenge Ride. There is no time limit on this ride, it is designed to offer a distance challenge to those wanting to add 100m to their list ot achievements. Starting from Whalley Bus Station, the route takes in the familiar Gisburn and Settle before heading off through Wray and breaking for lunch near Lancaster. The return trip passes through Glasson Dock, Garstang and Great Eccleston before returning to familiar roads through Longridge and Ribchester to the finish back in Whalley.  …

100km Challenge Ride - 30 July 2017

On Sunday 30th July we will be hosting the third of our 2017 Challenge Rides. The 100km Challenge Ride. There is no time limit on this ride, it is designed to offer a distance challenge to those wanting to add 100km to their list ot achievements. Starting from Whalley Bus Station, the route takes in the familiar Ribchester and Longridge before heading off through Broughton to Great Eccleston then turning north towards Stakepool and Pilling before breaking for lunch in Knott End. 50 m Challenge Ride - Sunday 2nd July

Sunday 2nd July is the date for the second of this years challenge rides. This is the second in our series of four challenge rides we are holding this year, spread throughout the summer. If you completed our 50km challenge ride in May, you may want to push that little bit further and join us on Sunday 2nd July for the 50 miles. Starting from Whalley Bus Station at 9:00am, the route heads out through Mitton and Waddington. Passing through Bolton-by-Bowland stopping at Airton for lunch. 50 km Challenge Ride - Sunday 21 May

Sunday 21st May marks the first of this years challenge rides. This is the first in a series of four challenge rides we are holding this year, spread throughout the summer. Join us on Sunday 21st for the 50km, you can build up through 50 miles in June, 100km in July, and up to the 100mile ride in late August. Bikes and Accessories for sale

Following the sad loss of Jack Harrison last year, his wife, Joan, has made the decision to sell his bikes and equipment to any member of the club that can make use of them.

Weekend in Hawes

We are planning a car assisted ride starting from Hawes on the 9th July.If people are interested, we could make this into a weekend away, using local Youth Hostels, B&B's or camping.
